       Any suggestions for the "best" secure and private e-mail service out there in 2022? I know the usual suspects--ProtonMail, Hushmail, Tutanota, Mailfence, etc. But I'm looking for those with personal experience with any of these offerings who can share any pros or cons they live with. #email #privacy #security #emailprivacy #help

       @_failsafe I guess gpg/pgp with the people you want to write to... at least, that's how I do it... And, I'm selfhosting my emails too

       @hyde I'm kind of rusty on gpg/pgp these days, so I probably should get back up-to-speed. I self-hosted my email for several years, but found I was spending a lot more time maintaining it than I cared to invest.Do you find the same or is your self-hosting pretty hands-off at this point?

       @_failsafe I dont really have any issue with my self hosting ... I've been using iredmail.org for years, and it works pretty well, and the setup is 15min
