       @Timmerax That reminded me that I watched "Kind Hearts and Coronets", as recommended at a Quodmeet by @PriestKristoph. Wow, what amazing writing for a screenplay, with Alec Guinness playing seven different roles.Here it is for anyone who would like to see it. In the beginning, the executioner said (I thought), "I've never hung a Jew before..."I was gobsmacked. But that's not what he said! He said "duke" - the British way (dyuke), with the d+y combining into a 'j' sound, "juke". Laughed at myself at that one.
