@CarrieAnnOutLaw It is not, it is a research tool that is used to detect and amplify a target DNA/RNA sequence. It cannot diagnose a pathogenic disease as the presence of a target pathogen does not itself indicate that disease resulting from it is also present. It is merely a tool to begin a search, it does not by itself deliver valid conclusions.But that's how it has been sold to everyone.
