       @redwhitebluedude This is the big push in San Diego.  They're taking away parking on streets to make way for bikes and small business owners lose customers that can't walk to their location.  Everyplace is a 20 min drive away here in SD.  Many more examples, too.  All on purpose.

       @sussudio @redwhitebluedude Exactly the same here in Tampa. They've been trying to raise taxes to build Choo Choo Trax for several years here.one law actually passed, but was reversed by the Florida Supreme Court because the wording was misleading. Most people thought it was an infrastructure upgrade.

       @sussudio @redwhitebluedude In the meantime, building contractors have been erecting high-rise apartments and condos within a couple of miles of downtown. It's starting to look like some of the cities in old Communist countries.
