@stuxCongrats (:*Due to various things changing about the gap between 1st and 2nd doses here in UK, I was originally getting my 2nd on 26th July (after 11 weeks-ish), which I changed to 19th July (after 10 weeks-ish), and then yesterday had an email to say I'd be getting my 2nd tomorrow (9th July, 8 weeks and 4 days exactly after the first).Apparently they're phasing out AstraZeneca use since they're running out of people who can have it, or need it. (It's for over 40s only, here).

@stuxHail Caesar!;*It also means that only a few days after all the current restrictions and rules are dropped on July 19th in England (provided that goes ahead) that I'll be fully vaccinated, with the full 5G, and magnetic abilities (apparently that's the latest FUD regarding the vaccines).

@stuxOver here the argument is that, yes, infections are going up and will continue going up for some time as we drop the current restrictions, but, hospital admissions and deaths aren't rising as quickly, so it looks like vaccination is reducing the severity of the infection when people get COVID.Least that's the theory that dropping restrictions is being based on, apparently.

@PhotonQyv Goood! Same here, they’re still keeping a close eye on the situation, infections did go way up but no hospital cases so that’s very good❤️

@stuxNow we just need everyone to 'get' that COVID isn't going away, it's going to be with us from now on. It therefore needs to be added to the list of health risks, alongside getting out of the bed in the morning, and the common cold and flu.We have a vaccine, actually several, which is more than we had at the beginning. They reduce the severity of the infection caused by COVID in most people who have them, but they don't stop the infection. They certainly don't help 'Beat' COVID!
