I'm moving. It has become apparent that this instance is blocking others. As a preservationist strategy I understand it, but it's still regrettable.I believe in giving the power to the individual user to blocks any user or instance that troubles them (and I have done so), but I don't agree to being denied access to information.I will be at @butterdog@poa.st for the time being. @mnswpr Same, it's not a normie instance by any means, plenty of good people there. I did call someone a nigger on another instance for ghosting their friend for being a non-vaxxer and the instance got a report but I didn't think they were that thin skinned. I get it, but it was still disappointing.

@butterdog @amerika very good. I've only had to block/mute maybe 3/total and most were from other instances. I would not think Adam would block at the instance level.Now I need to see why my hentai chicks have no updates for a week now. :)

@butterdog @hogihung Part of adulthood needs to include learning to use the mute button.I've muted a few ethnic slurs and have no regrets, but that's my account doing it, and my personal preference.Since people don't know how to do this, or refuse to, instead nodes play censorship whack-a-mole to avoid being deplatformed. Appeasement never works, so that will never work.

@hogihung @amerika I don't know who's decision it was, or if it's a mistake. I messaged the instance admin and didn't get a reply, they have a day job so I'm more than willing to cut some slack. I muted a lot of people and bots and blocked entire instances, mostly for coomer stuff. Maybe I'm building my own echo chamber but at least it's one I constructed myself.
