@butterdog thing is, thats exactly what it comes down to, build our own networks, businesses, communities.modern society wants us dead and gone, so we have to organize our own.

@Humpleupagus Yea, as far as I know you can't remove your yelp page or reviews without paying. That makes a shakedown operation. In that case maybe the answer is, well, it doesn't matter.

@Humpleupagus Not sure I get your point, people can remain anonymous online which everyone with 2 brain cells to rub together should be doing already (I don't care if you have to delete your account and loose all your precious followers) but a business can't really remain anon.You don't even need to make a google/yelp/etc business account, you can still be reviewed. Can't find it right now but google use to tell you to be anonymous online, then when google+ came online they said it was wrong.

@eriner I thought the point was that users have full control over what they see and don't, but I see thats not popular now. I block instances and users regularly for one reason or another, I don't like being told what I can or cannot see.

@butterdog If it is still broken, it might be that I have to completely delete it from the moderation list (the "none" moderation action isn't enough, I guess?). If that is the case, this is just a weird mastodon oddity and not censorship.Feel free to move to another instance. However, I feel you may have reached a rushed and unwarranted conclusion.

@butterdog If it was an issue in the past, could you sign into your NA social account to see if it is fixed? As mentioned previously it was listed, but edited with "None" severity, which I changed as discussed here: https://noagendasocial.com/@eriner/106386635398553545I have now removed it from the federation moderation list entirely, so if it was broken until today and is suddenly fixed, awesome.Would like to know if anything changed.
