       @Disciplis first option is more for people who don't care how crowded the timeline gets, they just don't want a promotionSecond option is for people worried about porn account drowning out other posts. Nsfw requirements will still be enforced, however

       @lewdthewides current porn bots are okay as long as they mark nsfw, I don't think we need more porn botstoo many porn bots (even if they're nsfw) runs the risk of other servers dropping our shit as yet another instance that spams porno

       @FBICatgirl the 3 months I've been here, I only ran into this question twice. I doubt it will ever become a big issue, but I rather not just turn them away automatically if the majority don't have an issue with itThe final decision will probably be a mixture of the 2. Forced nsfw images if they do nothing but post porn. If they're willing to rate-limit themselves to one or 2 posts an hour, then they can be shown on the instance timeline. If not, then they can post as much as they want being unlisted

Outside of it, bot classification is pretty pointless rn since it's suppose to be something that the end user can control seeing, and that hasn't happened yet.Also I've already talked with owners of porn accounts that are human. Might be nice to create a porn account classification alongside the bot one eventually
