What are some good full-size frame pumps still being sold? As in, those that require a pump peg.#cycling #bicycle #bicycletouring @bicycling @mastobikes @pla @alrs @awlt

@alrs I have that one now, but the plastic is being eaten away by the point on my bike's seat lug and it doesn't sit right anymore.@awlt @bicycling @mastobikes @pla

@tk @bicycling @mastobikes @alrs @pla Maybe Silca? https://silca.cc/collections/frame-pumps-mini-pumps/products/impero-ultimate-frame-pumpStupid expensive, but you can get spares for it for decades, and it will last that long.

@tk @awlt @pla I think they made the "touches the frame" parts plastic on purpose, so they wouldn't chew through paint and dent-up the frame. What's the mechanism chewing up your pump ends?

@alrs big reason I didn’t simply replace my frame pump is, as a small frame, with the pump I couldn’t use a good water bottle cage on the seat-tube. @tk @pla

@tk @awlt @bicycling @mastobikes @alrs @pla I would think that to use the 'Classic" label it wouldn't be. Besides, it was and still is a dependable, rugged frame pump.

@retiredguru @tk @awlt @bicycling @mastobikes @alrs Decided to take my Zefal HPX-3 out of the kitchen cabinet and put it on my single speed. The mini pump was less than stellar on yesterday's puncturefest. Bag is keeping the Zefal in place. Hopefully I'll never need to use it. :ride_on:
