Someone send me recommendations for fiction books. Preferable something a bit light that I can read before bed.Bonus points if it's queer and/or written by BAME authors.

@stolas Zen Cho - The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water. It’s a novella, available as an ebook, funny, mildly queer, with a vaguely Malaysian setting.Failing that, Martha Wells’ Murderbot books are light and very good.

@stolas Cyberiad by Lem is fun and has many short stories. Spaceships too, but they aren't in focus. Not queer though.

@stolas Ninefox Gambit and the sequels are not heavy and somewhat queer.Ancillary Justice is awesome, queer, not super light but not stuffy either.Binti is great but really short. The Broken Earth is great and queer and black and awesome in every way, but definitely not light.Stormlight Archive if you want a single series to read before bed for the rest of the year. xD It is great and easy to read, my go-to comfort book nowadays. Not queer, though the author is slowly trying to fix that.
