       Probably shouldn't get these cheapo Amazon Basics AAAA batteries anymore. One just died on me after only 2 months of using the surface pen.They're supposed to last up to 12 months.

       @normandy >up to 12 monthsDoesn't say they won't last shorter if you pull a lot of current. They're not rechargable, right? There's only so much charge in them.

       @wolf480pl I'm not sure how much current the surface pen draws, but the shortest I've heard of a battery lasting in those is like 6 months. The battery status monitor said it was at 72% life left before it suddenly died.

       @normandy They're really poor quality (much like most of Amazon's products). I bought a bunch of AAA batteries back when I used to buy from Amazon and they die really quickly.
