       anyway I haven't really played a homeworld before and cataclysm is pretty nice so far. keep having to restart levels because they pull surprise crap that I have no way to handle, but I'm only three levels in so maybe I'll get better at anticipating things and/or not wasting time? we'll see.

       @aeolun thing is everything so far has been some kind of rescue and the fleet cap is so small you only get around 15 corvettes to work with and if they're not in the right spot when the surprise happens the surprise might blow up the objective before you can do anything about it.but I did level 4 tonight and even though I lost all my corvettes twice and had to rebuild them while my base was under attack I somehow made it through on the first try, so maybe things are looking up.also I'm not good at RTS in general. :c
