@lumi i wonder why discord is even relevant. Like during my usage of it i experienced server outages. Rn i hear a lot about youtube banning musjc bots. Music bots was imho only reason to stay in discord.Rn Riot.im/matrix or hell even your damn xmpp and evdn irc seem betterYet all the cool gamers that shitpost whole day still remain on it.

@lumi foss projects should stop using it in the same fashion how foss projects should stop distributing their code through Cisco and Juniper routers. In other words, it's probably irrelevant.

@lumi @newt while I agree with you, only Discord helped me to connect with my users. I had:1) IRC channel: I was alone there. :( 2) XMPP room: all developers but 0 users.3) Matrix: ... no comments4) Discord "server": all developers and around 2 thousand users.Can I stop use it? Yes. Would it worth it? No. And I'm frustruated because of this. :(

@NaiJi @lumi I'm glad we use corporate mail server for communication in my company. Also, my company is small, so "classic" communication is also used, i.e. just go and talk with someone or call if they aren't in office.

@a1batross @lumi yeah, formal in-company way to communicate is of course emailing, but all regular everyday routine chats (just like daily call meetups) happen in the damn Skype. My previous work also required me to use Skype For F&&king Business which is the deepest satanic software hell you can only imagine

@newt @lumi mostly when I'm leaving the city, or when I'm in subway. Even on 3G discord starts to be unusable. Messaging works, but not pics. Maybe it's their CDN problem, I don't know.
