@rmw @tA i can assure you that this is more than systemd. this laptop was slow when i bought it in 2008, and it only got marginally faster with an ssd. it might have a good time with netbsd or something, but proprietary wifi drivers and shit

I think the brilliance doesn't shine thru when you treat (and expect it to behave) like an extra package manager + repos.. sorta like flatpak. I didn't appreciate it as a flatpak replacement but thats because that wasn't the point. When I tried it again as a declarative system it all fell in place.its great dude
