#HonestQuestion - People with Photosensitive epilepsy (#PSE) - are those flashing LED head- and backlights for bicycles, joggers etc a risk for you? Should we all just stop using them or switch them to continuous mode? Or is the frequency chosen not dangerous?

@jwildeboer even though I do not have PSE, I find the flashing mode highly annoying. So yes, please use continuous mode. And besides that, it's illegal on public roads in Germany. ;)

@MMx I have never used the flashing option and will never do, promised. But I notice a lot of people have them in flashing mode and I wonder how bad it is for people with #PSE

@jwildeboer I can imagine that the frequency of some models is indeed critical. And the users probably never cared to think about it, only claiming this is about _their_ safety. (Already had discussions with people about these lights)

@jwildeboer Flashing front white lights (especially if it's one of those 30W power LEDs) mess with adaptation (blinds oncoming traffic). Flashing red light doesn't trigger the same mechanism, but I still find it a bit annoying.
