We have disagreements and conversations in which persepctives are shared and we learn something about ourselves and one another. sometimes that is hard, and it can be work. thats what community building is. But yall use debate as a smokescreen for defending your proud position as a white boy tech guy without any actual self reflexivity. you dont have ideas to debate my guy that i haven't heard before

@ArtistMarciaXI totally agree that so much of online debate is completely without value.Debate should be about learning more about other perspectives on an issue, not about "winning" against an "opponent".You should come away from a debate with a richer, more informed understanding of the topic and the people who are involved.

@jeffalyanak @ArtistMarciaX So few know how to listen in person let alone online. Online someone will make a point, then log off. Or stay within their own bubble regurgitating exactly what they wish to hear. Without honest discourse there can never be a paradigm shift in someones thinking.
