I have this idea in my head that I'm unable to dislodge, so I'm going to throw it to you smart people and see what you all think.The Khoshoggi murder was faked (by Qatar) to drive a wedge between the US and KSA. Calling K a WaPo journalist is not really accurate. He wrote pro-Qatari policy op-eds for the Post. He was really a lobbyist for Qatar.

Mike Cernovich made a short documentary last year(?) called Blood Money, and it really opened my eyes to the HUGE influence of Qatar in Washington. I generally find Cernovich annoying, but this was very informative.I don't understand the middle eastern mind-set and why they do the things they do, but some people on here, like @ThomasWic certainly do.

And I really just brought it up because I think most people are unaware of the massive Qatar lobby in DC.Didn't the Senate just last week decline the Trump deal to sell arms to KSA? Who lobbied the GOP on that, I wonder?
