@MitziDee We can't close the border indefinitely, and hundreds of thousands more WON'T enter the country.You're assuming that nothing will done clandestinely.As always, no faith in Trump.I'll never understand that. There's no learning curve. Everything he does is greeted with skepticism or panic.It's time for people to admit that they will never trust Trump regardless of what he does.Just be honest.

Threaten the most extreme thing (like closing the border), allow aides and others to be like ”Yeah, no.” Let the media focus on something stupid like ”Oh noes, the avocados!” And then do something sensible that will hurt them. And it always works.

@ThomasWic It has nothing to do with trust. I never said he was going to close the border indefinitely, he did. Thousands will cross the border. You're assuming something clandestine is being done. He is backtracking on his words. Used to be a man's word meant something. As for my honesty, I am honest. Trump is not infallible.I didn't realize that this is a safe space and questioning the President is forbidden.

@ThomasWic @MitziDee I believe 100% that when our President does or says things like this there is always something else going on below the radar. But, as I've said before, if doesn't do 1 more thing I'm still satisfied. He's done more in 2 yrs than most did in 8.

@MitziDee I think people are trying to reassure you not shut down your viewpoint.I too believe it is wise to express doubt. I do NOT believe the Trump will shut down the border in an election year. So I believe there is something else going on behind the scenes. I hope it is a bunch of congresscritter crooks going to jail - its not likely - so what is it? No idea.Maybe others here can tell us what they think instead of just Trust Trump.

@MitziDee Any trust requires faith. Faith waivers. That is human nature.Many have been waiting for the spygate hammer to drop. It hasnt yet - but there have been a lot of goid signs that it will.In truth, God works through signs and miracles.Trump is not God and there are people around him hurting him or trying to. So I applaud your questions. I do trust Trump. But I think he is working with Mexico because dimms wont.Mexico ending the flood is better than us btw

@JJ My faith in him is fine. My concern is that others are trying to hurt him, particularly some in the GOP. My distrust is in them, not Trump. Thus the question, why?

@Dawnz @MitziDee I think so too. I guess some concern was on the language in that presser “so I’ll give them a year” - but to me that says Mexico has started something that gave Trump some assurance that he didnt need to shut it down right away
