       Just read that Jake Phelps, who was editor at Thrasher magazine for decades, has died.  Remember reading this article about him ages ago and enjoying it:https://story.californiasunday.com/jake-phelps-thrasherSeems he *was* Thrasher and is the reason so many young folks wear Thrasher tops now even if they cant skate.

       @Luke I saw this in my feed today and was sad.  As an old skater that magazine and his work helped shape my young life.

       @stunder 👍👍 I was always a terrible skater but had a lot of skating friends and enjoyed the culture. Sad news for sure.
