Hello Gophers!

Not much to talk about the last few months. I have been working hard getting
up to speed at my new job. It is nice to have people teach me new things and
not the other way around for a change. The work we do is highly technical and
this means that I have to learn completely new things. I like that a lot: In
my former job I had seen it all, and done it all. This is a new fresh environ-
ment. 

We are speeding towards the Christmas time of 2025. Everyday I think that this
world can not become any more crazy than it is right now, and everyday I get
bowled over by yet another act of stupidity, sheer power or just full-on misan-
tropy. I really think the USA is becoming a more and more stupid and dangeorous
place. I will not visit the USA while it is in this state. We were thinking of
making a nice trip with the family for a few weeks, and formerly USA was on the
shortlist. Not anymore. We will probably go to Asia.

Further, after the rollercoasters of the last few years in the family we are
very much enjoying the dull life we live at the moment. We sincerely love living
a life that is predictably boring. If you would have asked me 5 years ago
whether I would like a life like that, I would have probably have looked at you
with disgust.
