Hello Gophers!

A small update on my illness. I have been deemed okay to go for surgery.
I am very happy about being finally deemed ready for surgery. So it all looks
somewhat better than it was before. I am not only happy for myself, but also for
the people in my family that seem to have to put up with me a little longer ;-)

So I'm looking forward to this, and then the recovery, and subsequently the
gradual return to work. I have been at work for a few hours today, and it felt
good. I just do not have the energy yet to do a full day. Now the fact is that
I also do not *have* to come into work now I'm ill, but it is good to be there
sometimes.
