Onboard graphics?  Usually seperate graphics cards have been using ddr5 for 
ages now.

I have one of those as well.  However it takes more power and space for my 
liking which is why I bought the epyc in the first place.  Far less power 
consumption and far more capable than the ddr3 system.

No regrets.
