Fresh out of the oven and uptime claims "18:03:51 up 7 min" which sounds about 
right.  I'll probably reboot to the so-called stable boot after replying to 
your posts as this rootfs is lacking some things I use on a daily basis.  The 
fidonet stuff works given that it uses basic software that is part and parcel 
of every linux distribution I've ever heard of.

Gotta love it.
