The 2 I posted about I bought the same day and were dirt cheap compared to the 
first one I ever owned witch was back in 1999-ish.  I had to order it from a 
Canadian techie firm which was located in N. Carolina.  I forget the name of 
that company but the usb flash drive was a M-Systems 8M jobber if I am not 
mistaken.  I also have a 2.5" 44-pin SSD (1G) that still works ... or it did 
the last time I chacked.  I lack a 44-pin controller at the moment.
