Yeah, the thumb drive variety are handy but are slow at the best of times.

Mine re all quite old now. Maybe I should invest in some new ones.

BTW, I read that someone has stood up to maintain the LFS SysV book. If it
works out as planned there may be a light at the end of that tunnel.
