Yes, you can use binkd with Synchronet, instead of using the one that comes with Synchronet. Just like you can use a plethora of mailers with your BBS software. If the sysop's name that his system is reporting is "Ivan Ivanov" with AKAs for both Fidonet and Linuxnet, then for some reason he's using the default configuration file for binkd. Regards, Nick ....
