With my Mystic and WWIV BBS's I chose a higher port number for telnet and also 
used the "[ESC]" fake mailer; both collectively seem to help.  I've done the 
same with a higher port number for my Synchronet BBS and it seems to be working 
on and so far without needing the fake mailer prompt, however I would like to 
eventually add it for other reasons.  When I used the standard port 23 I got 
attacked by scanners so frequently it would slow my telnet connection down for 
users / me.

I'll look into what you've done and see if I can't replicate it later.  For now 
I'm beating my head against a wall trying to get DOSEMU2 working, I keep 
getting a file not found error ..  I love tinkering with new BBS stuff, 
especially Synchronet, but hate messing with initial door setups.

Did you write yours in .js as an add to login.js?
