I'm somewhat amazed that FidoNet still exists, and that are
still people posting messages on it!

Insofar as technical amateur radio topics go: AMSAT is busily
working on the first of the GOLF series, slated to be launched
in 2027. I work on the RT-IHU, which is the satellite's flight
computer.
