What happens is that the node drops out...although I've been on nets where the station dropped out due to battery failure, or they were accessing the app on their smartphone, and a call came in. The thing that irks me though, is that many of them are a bunch of impatient net-hoppers. They feel it's a crime or mortal sin if they miss checking into a net...so they have to try to check into every net in existence that day or evening. These are what I call "Hi, Bye, and QSY checkins". Daryl, N5VLZ .... Hard Disk??!!
