You might have a point about the automation, but never underestimate the value 
of consistency.

As the FidoNews editor, his role isn't to be a content creator or to liven up 
the echoareas... it's simply to ensure that what arrives gets published. 

We need to set the right expectations: keeping the lights on and staying 
reliable for 25 years is a merit in itself, even if it's not about putting on a 
show.
