Yeah, Comcast installers were the worst - one of them wanted to throw the cable over my tile roof, run along a flat tar roof unanchored and drill a hole in the roof to drop it down. I flat out refused. They sent someone else out to do the work a couple of days later and the first installer came by to trash talk me to the second one outside of my own house. Now, I have a local cable installer - he's great and cheap, ran all new cable when we got cable internet, and he ran Cat6 from my downstairs router to my office, terminated both in outlet boxes with keystone jacks, and rid me of a couple of janky powerline boxes I had been using. (Powerline is great if you're all on one breaker box. Unfortunately, the router and my office are on different breaker boxes and they'd lose connection every week or so...) ....
