I was a kid when I thought that about the Tandy.  Child thinking not wanting to 
be an adult yet.  

I'd love to see pictures of your VT102 dumb terminal working with your FreeBSD 
setup!  Sounds super cool.

I never did get into Ham Radio.  I'm two or three years younger than you, and 
Ham Radio scared me a bit.  I enjoyed the anonymity of not having to speak, 
plus having a child sounding voice.  I know BBSing kind of developed from Ham 
Radio enthusiasts and is why we get the "Handle" term. Still seems interesting. 
 What do people talk about these days over HR?

The Tandy also had limited color graphics and inferior sound from what I 
remember back in the day compared to the Commodore 64 I had at the time and 
even though I thought it was cool, I just though the Tandy was for business, 
not 'fun' like my Commodore 64.
