I'll give that a shot, thanks Andrew.  The problem seems to be that for every 
line of ANSI drawn to the screen, the entire screen redraws the ANSI to that 
new line, until the ANSI is fully drawn.  It's doing so even when loading the 
phone book, or settings, as an example.  Hopefully a recompile will work.  I'd 
have to send you a gmail with video to better illustrate what I mean.
