Subj : Apple Event - Tuesday 10am Pacific To : All From : Bob Roberts Date : Mon Nov 09 2020 11:13:38 I might be the only Apple Fanboi here, but just in case anyone is interested.... Apple is expected to announce their very first computer products running on "Apple Silicon" aka ARM based processors tomorrow (Tuesday), at 10am Pacific. They stream their presentations on Apple TV, and at Apple.com. Rumor is new ARM based iMacs, 13 and 16 inch Macbooks. This is a major transition for the company, moving off Intel onto their custom designed chips shoulf allow them to surpass the performance barriers Intel has encountered in the latest Intel mobile processors. Apple's already done this a few times, the latest around 2005 when they transitioned from PowerPC to Intel processors. Anyways, Apple Events are always entertaining. So check it out if so inclined. |01bobbobbobbob|09bob|03bob|11bob|03bob|09bob|01bobbobbob |01robrobrobrob|09rob|03rob|11rob|03rob|09rob|01robrobrob |07 --- SBBSecho 3.11-Linux * Origin: Halls of Valhalla <> San Francisco <> hovalbbs.com (1337:3/135) .
