Without diving into the different parts; you can run a client/server/other modules - you just need a gitlab account and;

git clone --recurse-submodules git@gitlab.com:veilid/veilid.git

.... theres not great documentation yet, but they do cover the infrastructure @ https://veilid.com/docs/overview/ ... follow the left hand side and click downward on all the sections - Overview, networking, cryptography, rpc protocol, private routing, accessability. It explains a lot, and the gitlab will detail the modules. :P
