Yeah, it was buried in the depths of an Ubuntu support blog.  I wouldn't have 
guessed that one either.  The great thing though is that one can set the font 
size and play with other size settings to get a similar result to rescaling, 
without the drop in video performance.  This also, another win, allowed me to 
reinstall the Nvidia graphics driver which also then fixed video performance 
(which had prior been glitchy).   The computercpu-gui you turned me on to also 
turbo boosted the PC's performance.  TUG is now nice and snappy even when I 
have 300 youtube video's open (smilez).
