Hey mL and Paulie,

Both of you had been pondering with me what could have been causing netrunner, 
syncterm, to slow to a crawl whenever a web browser was open.

Whether a bandaid or a yet perfected feature Fractional Scaling is / was the 
culprit for me.

As soon as I turned it off system was back to great performance without
the need of a sledge hammer.
