Yeah, I played with it for a little bit - I also played with jamnntpd.

This kinda lets you have echomail/netmail without a BBS.

So a mailer receives your packets. Crashmail tosses them, and jamnntpd lets you
 read it with your favourite nntp app.

Obviously the reverse direction works as well, where crashmail exports new
messages that your favourite mailer would send to your upstream.

It works well...
