You know that I tried to get it to work and that Miraclecast is CLI... I think the project to try first is gnome-network-displays. It has a beautiful interface and LOOKS like it should just w0rk, but it did fail on my Samsung UN65MU6500 [6500 series 65"]. But, my TV prolly isn't the NEWEST. Sme users of gnome-networks-displays report full functionality. You should try it... sudo apt install gnome-network-displays That will give you an app called 'Network Displays' and your TV *will* show right up... mine, however, doesn't cast correctly. You simply select which screen to share, and then the TV and click connect. With Miraclecast, I was able to get a little further... the 'connecting to Miraclecast' logo showed up on my TV - but I still couldn't get a connection. I'd give gnome-network-displays a stock install try first; after which, there is some tweaking that you can do w/ shutting down network manager and other things; but it isn't a solution I'm willing to do. [Killing my network manager and stuff..] HMMMM - I wonder if its as simple as turning off my VPN. I hadn't thought of that... I'll make another post if I get it cracking. |07p|15AULIE|1142|07o |08......... --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A48 2022/04/03 (Raspberry Pi/32) * Origin: 2o fOr beeRS bbs>>>20ForBeers.com:1337 (1337:3/129) .
