If package foo is included in the stable releasecurrently Debian13 ("trixie")a user can reasonably expect that it will continue to be available with security backports as long as that release is supported, though it may not be included in Debian14 ("forky"). However, it is likely that the Guix package manager will soon be removed from the repositories for Debian13 and Debian12 ("bookworm", also called oldstable). ====================================================================== Link to news story: https://lwn.net/Articles/1035491/ --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 (Linux/64) * Origin: tqwNet UK HUB @ hub.uk.erb.pw (1337:1/100) .
