I found that Debian 10 did not work so well on my 32-bit server. I mentioned that in one of the echos and someone suggested getting away from systemd by trying a Debian derivative called Devuan. I installed it (sans GUI) and so far it is working well. No more runaway processes hogging up CPU and RAM. One caveat is that the latest stable is still based on Debian 9. Hopefully when they move to 10 as the source I continue to have good luck with it. * SLMR 2.1a * Float on a river, forever and ever, Emily...Emily... --- SBBSecho 3.07-Linux * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1337:3/103) .
