The answers to today's Strands, game #619, are ACROSS DOWN BYLINE CLUES GRID

After getting ACROSS and then the spangram first I was left in little doubt 
about the words we were searching for today  although I was delighted to find 
burgers among the non-game words. 

This goes down as a near-perfect Strands for me  not too hard or too easy, 
with a topic all puzzlers will find fun and some interesting word choices. 

Plus, it wasnt until I played this game that I realized how many different 
elements there are to a CROSSWORD, so it's made me appreciate them all the

Strands? 

Strands is the NYT's not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and

desktop or mobile.
