The answers to today's Strands, game #617, are ACCOUNTANT CLERK MANAGER

I had two late-1970s hits going through my head as I played this game. The 
first being the Boomtown Rats' classic I Dont Like Mondays , which was a bit 
macabre on reflection but something I used to sing to myself as I toiled 
through homework on a Sunday night. 

The second song was Martha and The Muffins smalltown anthem Echo Beach , with 
its chorus of  From nine to five I have to spend my time at work / My job is 
very boring, Im an office clerk   something I can relate to in my former life 
as a bored office clerk. 

Of all the OFFICEJOBS we searched for today, RECEPTIONIST has to be the most 
fun, especially if you have a computer screen that doesnt face your 
colleagues  leaving you free to dream of being back in Echo Beach without 
your nosey workmates knowing what youre up to. Yesterday's NYT Strands
