NYT Connections today (game #882) - the answers (Image credit: New York Times) The answers to today's Connections, game #882, are YELLOW: PERSONAL GROOMING ITEMS BRUSH, MIRROR, NAIL FILE, TWEEZERS GREEN: PACKED COMPACT, DENSE, THICK, TIGHT BLUE: PONDER DELIBERATE, MUSE, NOODLE, REFLECT PURPLE: STARTING WITH BIRD HOMOPHONES CRANIUM, CRONUT, LUNAR, PUFNSTUF My rating: Easy My score: 1 mistake If we put aside the purple group I had to Google 'loon' after the game to make sure then this was a pretty straightforward round. Having said that, I still managed to find a way to make a mistake and included COMPACT instead of MIRROR among my PERSONAL GROOMING ITEMS. I doubt I was alone in doing this, but I felt irked afterwards that i hadnt achieved a clean run. Its also a surprise to me that I didnt get PONDER a little more quickly considering the large percentage of my life that I spend in that particular state attempting to solve this very game. Yesterday's NYT Connections answers (Saturday, November 8, game #881) YELLOW: BLOCK, AS AN OPENING CLOSE, PLUG, SEAL, STOP GREEN: PUT FORWARD, AS AN ANNOUNCEMENT DELIVER, GIVE, PRESENT, PRONOUNCE BLUE: KINDS OF LANGUAGE BODY, PROGRAMMING, SIGN, SPOKEN PURPLE: WORDS AFTER "|" BEAM, CHING, ROBOT, SPY What is NYT Connections? NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four items that share something in common, and each group has a different difficulty level: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite tough and purple usually very difficult. On the plus side, you don't technically need to solve the final one, as you'll be able to answer that one by a process of elimination. What's more, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little bit of breathing room. It's a little more involved than something like Wordle, however, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to trip you up with tricks. For instance, watch out for homophones and other word games that could disguise the answers. It's playable for free via the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile. ====================================================================== Link to news story: https://www.techradar.com/gaming/nyt-connections-today-answers-hints-9-novembe r-2025 --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A49 (Linux/64) * Origin: tqwNet Technology News (1337:1/100) .
