The answers to today's Strands, game #616, are ENTRANCE SPELLBIND HYPNOTIZE

This took me a long time for a round with only four game words. In part this 
was due to me not really understanding the theme, which always makes the 
search more difficult. 

The other tricky aspect of todays game was a 13-letter spangram that I failed 
to see even after getting ENTRANCE, SPELLBIND, HYPNOTIZE and CAPTIVATE. 

I hope it was more enchanting for you than it was for me. Yesterday's NYT
