The answers to today's Strands, game #615, are PORTAL ENTRANCE GATE DOORWAY

Im pleased that I didnt use any hints today, as this was a far from 
straightforward search, with several difficult to find words (I tapped out 
door and doors before finally getting DOORWAY). 

The phrase knock, knock is usually answered whos where?, but after getting 
PORTAL, ENTRANCE, and GATE in quick succession along the top of the board I 
knew we werent looking for anything to do with jokes. 

Despite getting the spangram fairly quickly after my initial burst, I 
struggled with the bottom half of the board and it took me a while to figure 
out we were looking for INGRESS and THRESHOLD on our way to glory.

Strands is the NYT's not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and
