The answers to today's Strands, game #608, are DELICIOUS SCRUMPTIOUS 
FLAVORFUL DELECTABLE SPANGRAM: GOOD TASTE My rating: Hard My score: 1 hint 

There were only four words and a spangram in todays game but we had to work 
hard to find them; well, I did anyway! 

After finding half a dozen non-game words and mistakenly thinking our task 
was to find words associated with good manners, I took a hint, with DELICIOUS 
setting me on my way. 

It took me a lot of attempts at different spelling, but I eventually found 
SCRUMPTIOUS  a word whose most famous appearance is in the Chitty Chitty Bang 
Bang song Truly Scrumptious  before the far easier FLAVORFUL and DELECTABLE.

Strands is the NYT's not-so-new-any-more word game, following Wordle and
