What was the thought process behind it? I'm just curious as I have been thinking about a distro-hop for my Linux laptop, but I was toying with moving away from a Debian derivative and potentially thinking about heading more towards Arch or Manjaro or something of that ilk. Not decided yet, but it's just an idea at this moment. Good work on getting everything working under Debian for the BBS computer and hope you get Python to play nice soon, I have my BBS running in an Ubuntu 18.04 LTS container and was messing about recently with FreeBSD and OpenBSD with Mystic, but I couldn't get Python to work properly yet so have hit a small stumbling block... running Linux binaries in BSD isn't too difficult, and I managed to get the majority of it working lol, I just need Python, then I will test to see what benefits or downfalls are to running on BSD over Linux etc. I was also toying with the idea of creating another BBS using something entirely different for the BBS server software, instead of Mystic, perhaps give Enigma another go or maybe find something else. I did see somewhere a while back something which looked cool but I don't think it was a released software and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. I do know it had a really cool web-ui configuration system though, not that I don't like text-based config, I just liked that it had that as well. -- Best regards, MeaTLoTioN --- Mystic BBS/NNTP v1.12 A43 2019/03/02 (Linux/64) * Origin: The Quantum Wormhole, Ramsgate, UK. bbs.erb.pw (1337:1/101) .
