Subj : Found a new mail reader for Linux To : All From : MeaTLoTioN Date : Fri Jul 19 2019 13:33:34 Hey y'all, I just thought I would share my findings here, I've been looking on and off for a good mail reader that works with Mystic and have tried a few mail clients and dedicated readers, and just stumbled upon Claws Mail for Linux. It is super easy to set up, as are most of the mail client news readers I have tried, but this one seems to work flawlessly both reading and composing/sending messages. Previously I had tried Thunderbird which seemed ok until I realised that for whatever reason messages would show up in the wrong message group/base, and I couldn't respond to anything at all. Using Claws Mail right now to send this, and it does seem to behave very well indeed, and will likely use this at work all the time now so I can get my daily echo fix and be a little more active in the networks. Has anyone else tried Claws Mail before? It's a super light weight mail client, and although it looks kinda oldschool which might have put me off, it's not a bad oldschool look, it's just very basic and due to that it's super quick. Anyway, just thought I would share my findings, and hope it might help someone who's looking for such a solution and will benefit from this message. It's Friday, and today is payday also, so double-bonus! Hope y'all are having a great day/night wherever y'all are in the world. -- Best regards, MeaTLoTioN --- Mystic BBS/NNTP v1.12 A43 2019/03/02 (Linux/64) * Origin: The Quantum Wormhole, Ramsgate, UK. bbs.erb.pw (1337:1/101) .
