You got it - I'm converting zone net node (and point) into hex. Prefixed with

I've started using cloudflare, and while cloudflare doesnt manage "sub
domains" as sub domains, you can still have subdomain type addresses. IE: If
it managed erb.pw, you could create an entry hub.au.zt - which would resolve
hub.au.zt.erb.pw. And since cloudflare can do APIs it should be automatable.

(I'm currently working on software to do exactly that with cloudflare.)

Now, if it turns out it doesnt work, I've also been playing with powerDNS. I
have a server in a datacenter, so if you had a (reliable) machine somewhere
else, we could create a sub domain delegated to it.
